Charity 

As Jesus commands us to love one another, we ought to show love that gives, serves and uplift others. Charity gives us an opportunity to demonstrate such love.  

"And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works" - Hebrews 10:24.

When we give generously, whether through time, resources, or acts of kindness. We become instruments of God's grace in the world. As Christians charity is about understanding how deeply we have been loved and forgiven. Charity is a way for us to mirror that compassion to those around us, especially to the poor, the brokenhearted, and the forgotten. 

As Isaiah 1:27 encourages us to "Learn to do good; Seek justice; Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless; Plead for the widow."

Let us live with open hands and open hearts, trusting that every act of charity brings light into the world and draw people closer to the love of Christ.
